“Monique helped us move from hopelessness to hopefulness. Monique does what she says she is going to do and she's relatable, very responsive and provides honest feedback. Our time with Monique was truly meaningful.”

Every part of life as interconnected and interdependent — like a living web. Our work, relationships, health, responsibilities, rhythms, and inner world are constantly influencing one another. When we stop treating these areas as separate and begin to see how they function together as a whole, it unlocks a more holistic way of understanding ourselves — and a more supportive way of shaping how we live, work, and move through the world.

Your life is a system — not a series of separate parts

Structure is meant to support life — not control it.

Structure plays a quiet but powerful role in how we experience daily life. When it’s aligned with who we are and what we’re carrying, it creates stability, clarity, and space. When it’s outdated or imposed without reflection, it can feel rigid, draining, or suffocating.

Most people don’t struggle because they lack motivation or discipline. They struggle because the structures shaping their days no longer match their reality. Responsibilities shift. Capacity changes. Priorities evolve, but the systems meant to support them often stay the same.

At Illume Advisory Group, my work begins by helping people rethink their relationship to structure — not as something to push against or perfect, but as something that can be redesigned to support the season they’re in now.

When aligned, structure becomes a portal to freedom.

my philosophy

I see life as a living system. Every person operates within a personal ecosystem made up of interconnected areas — work, relationships, health, energy, environment, and more. When one part of the system is under strain, it affects the others, often in subtle ways that shape energy, capacity, and momentum.

my approach

A systems-based, energetically-informed approach

By working with the ecosystem, redesigning the operating system, and honoring personal energetics, we create systems that reduce strain and support sustainable movement forward. Our approach prioritizes alignment and livability. The goal isn’t to do more — it’s to create systems that reduce strain, respond to what the symptoms are communicating, and support sustainable movement forward with clarity and ease.

My work is grounded in the belief that symptoms tell a story. They act as signals within the system, pointing to where strain is occurring, which areas are being impacted, and how that strain is rippling across the whole. I understand these signals within the context of a person’s personal ecosystem: the interconnected domains of life, work, health, energy, and environment that influence one another at all times. Rather than treating symptoms as isolated problems to eliminate, I use them as entry points for understanding what the system is asking for.

Before introducing new strategies, routines, or structures, I help clients see how their life is currently organized: the operating system that’s shaping how they move through their days.  This includes where patterns of friction, depletion, or imbalance are originating and how they’re being reinforced over time. This creates the space to respond thoughtfully, instead of reacting quickly.

From there, we collaborate to redesign support with intention. I leverage both practical systems and personal energetics — how a person’s energy, capacity, rhythms, and decision-making style influence what structures will actually hold, recognizing that structure must be designed in relationship to the individual. What supports one person may quietly strain another.

Grounded guidance,
clear boundaries, and thoughtful design

My work is grounded, attentive, and direct. I create space for reflection and understanding, while also bringing clarity, structure, and honest feedback into the process. I don’t rush people through decisions — but I also don’t avoid naming what’s present.

If it helps to name it: think Iyanla meets Marie Kondo, with the grounded wisdom of your favorite aunt who knows when to hold and when to name.

how I work

I work best with people who are willing to look at their life as it actually is, rather than how they think it should be. Together, we slow things down enough to see what’s happening beneath the surface, so decisions and changes can be made with intention instead of pressure.

I’m thoughtful about boundaries and scope. I offer clear containers, focused sessions, and well-defined support — not open-ended processing or constant access. This allows the work to remain sustainable, respectful, and effective for everyone involved.

At its core, my role is to help people make sense of what they’re experiencing, understand what their system is asking for, and design support that honors both their humanity and their responsibility to the life they’re living.

my why

What Shapes My lens

Alongside my background in systems, structure, and design, I’m also an herbalist, diviner, and energy worker — roles that have shaped how I understand rhythm, capacity, and the subtle ways life communicates when something is out of balance. I approach this work as a lifelong learner, continually studying how people, systems, and environments interact over time.

These practices have taught me to listen beneath the surface — to the patterns, timing, and quiet signals that reveal how a system is actually functioning. They inform how I see structure not as rigid or prescriptive, but as something living, responsive, and deeply connected to the person it’s meant to support.

My background in compliance and process improvement trained me to see patterns, breakdowns, and structural gaps. My training and experience in astrology, herbalism, and subtle energy work taught me how those structures must be shaped to be lived — not just designed or imposed.
